Every student has the potential to make a difference in the world. It is up to the teachers to lead them in the right direction and open up their minds to endless possibilities. Teaching a career composed of compassion, diligence, patience, passion, and so much more. Teachers can impact students in so many ways, we hope to impact them positively and hope they continue to succeed in their live after they have left our classroom. Teachers are the mentors of the future leaders of the world.

• Advance the students’ knowledge through creative and inspiring teaching methods.

• Design lessons that can include information that connects with the students

• Present TEKS with enthusiasm and emphasize importance of each.

• Create a positive and uplifting classroom

• Improve students’ science literacy skills

• Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm when learning about each topic

• Serve as a mentor, role model, and coach for students

 

• Vary instructional strategies

• Consider each students’ learning styles and aptitudes

• Actively engage students

• Incorporate technology into daily classroom instruction and activities

• Set realistic and reachable expectations for students to succeed

• Integrate student-centered learning

• Keep an open-mind and actively listen to different ways of thinking

My Vision Statement

As a teacher, I aim to create an atmosphere that encourages curiosity and sheer determination. Our classroom is a place where students feel important, respected, cared for and believed in. I am a teacher who makes it possible for her students to reach their full potential, ask questions, learn from their mistakes, give and receive feedback, create and try their best. In our classroom, real world problems are solved and each student believes that they can make a difference in this world. Together, we celebrate each other’s success and inspire each other to be the best person that we can be.
